Flying Shear Machines
The cutting tool used to shear high speed bars ranging from 5 Mt per sec to 18 Mt Per sec. The machine is installed after TMT box to cut the bars of desired lengths. The Flying Shear speed can be controlled by the drive installed on it .The shear can cut bars from 8 to 40 mm.
Bloom/Billet Shearing Machine
- Billet Shearing Machines have extremely high qualitative parameters, and low tolerance values and are made of MS plates.
- Capacity of Bloom and billet shearing machine varies from 50 MM to 300 MM Gears are provided to facilitate operations with small power.
Scrap Shearing Machines
- Scrap Shearing machines are used for cutting re-roll able scrape plates, rails, beams, channels, rounds, angles, squares, etc. in cold condition and the machines are usually heavy duty.
- RMT manufactures scrap shearing machines with capacity of 18 mm to maximum of 75 mm (cold metal).
End Cutting Shearing Machine
These machines are used in hot steel rolling mill plants for cutting of end of the angle. The processed curving edge can be trimmed by the square roller from the top and bottom at the same time, the straight line can also be trimmed by the linear gauge from the top and bottom at the same time with fine brightness and smoothness. End cutting shearing machines are installed near the roughing stand and can be used on oval stand or finishing stand.
Snap Shears
We supply excellent quality pneumatic snap shears that are known for their efficiency & durability. These are used for cutting the material while transfer or miss roll in intermediate mill, complete with cylinders and solenoid valves. Rotary Shears

Alligator Shearing Machines
An Alligator Shear, historically known as a Lever Shear, is a metal-cutting shear with a hinged jaw, powered by a flywheel or a hydraulic cylinder. The jaw size can range from 4 to 36 in (100 to 910 mm) long. They are generally used to cut steel members, such as rebar, pipe, angle iron or I-beams. With an automatic cutting cycle and complete with fork truck lifting pockets the new alligator shear weighs much less than the traditional shears and has a more material cutting capacity of upto70mm mild steel bar.
Hot/Cold Shearing Machines
Hot Shearing Machines are used in Hot Rolling to cut desired length and as well as trim front and Rear End. These shear are capable of cutting section size ranges from 160 mm to 600 mm ( Beam, channel, Angle ) and as well as Square, Racks of 40 mm to 250 mm. The hot Saw presently is of two types Pendulum Swinging type and the other is of horizontal shift type.
Cold Shearing Machines are used to cut the finished product in to desired lengths. We manufacturer crop shearing machines for all kind of bars, round and structural products like Angle, I/H Beam, flat, U Channel etc.

Crop Shear
The crop shear practice is very important for the Hot Strip Mills to avoid cobbles and steering problems in the finishing stands. Steckel Rolling operation for all coiled plate product also has problems if the front end is not cropped squarely, there are often problems with steering and cobbles which cause significant delays and loss of production.
